Adobe launches Flash Media Server and Flash access to iOS

Adobe announced today at the show IBC Amsterdam that it launches Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 and Adobe Flash Access 3.0, Boy Genius report, of which none need approval of Apple?s so that it works. Famous Apple does not Flash on its devices, of course, which means that the users of iPhone and iPad are even sometimes through videos when he surfs on the web that they can?t watch, which can be a little frustrating. Flash Media Server 4.5 means that Web site publishers can now offer content using a single stream suitable for devices that are able to show Flash, such as the Android tablets, for example, and iOS, also non-Flash devices. Publishers who fork over $4,500 for Adobe Flash Media Server, which is now available, will be able to stream content Flash iOS devices, meaning that iOS browser support Safari for Flash (which will happen!) is not necessary. ?Adobe has a deep heritage in providing video solutions to deliver content online and on the device. With Flash Media Server 4.5 and Flash Access 3.0, we?re for businesses to reach more customers and more devices, help increase the impact of video experiences, improve their brands, and finally, the commercial success of drive, ? said Pritham Shetty, Vice President, video Solutions, Adobe. So I hope that this means that we?ll are perhaps less of those annoying messages telling us that we need to download Flash on our iPads and iPhone when we?re, try to view a video!

Connect fine to router but not to WAP wireless access point

I have a Verizon FIOS wireless router and wired to it and going to the other side of the house is a wireless access point (belkin).

I can connect fine to the actiontec wifi but not to the WAP. The WAP asks for the key and then says it is the incorrect key. I can connect to it via my laptop so I know it is working fine and that I have the correct key. When I disable WEP on it my iPad trys to connect but fails.

Any one have any ideas on this? The WAP gives me good coverage on the far side of the house which is why I like it. Does the iPad have known issues connecting to WAPs?

Thanks,

Bob

College Angel/Blackboard access

Hey,

I am thinking about getting an ipad, however a lot of my schoolwork is done on an a website called Angel. A similar one is called blackboard, although I have had no experience with it. Its bascially a site where teachers can post notes, grades, assignments, other info, etc. I know I cannot access it on my macbook through safari, and so I assume I wont be able to access it through safari on the ipad. On the Angel website it says the requirements are AJAX, Java, Javascript, and popups. I am not sure what most of that means, but this will probably be a factor whether I get the ipad or not, any/all help is appreciated.

Can't access videos with 4.2.1
