EA Mobile has today launched a re-imagined version of one the most popular games of all time, Tetris. The new version gives fans access to new features that give them revolutionary ways to play on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Along with classic fan favourites such as Marathon Mode, several new modes have been added, including Galaxy Mode, where players get to use game-changing power ups to dig down and shatter their scores, the Origin-powered Tetris Log, which delivers new gameplay challenges, and a Tetris Rank facility, which tracks players’ lifetime “lines cleared” and assigns an overall rank. The app also now comes complete with the opportunity to subscribe to the T-Club, the only Tetris fan club to give members exclusive access to new mobile challenges and content.
“The Tetris App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch was specifically designed to let players experience a re-imagined Tetris universe including the traditional Tetris gameplay they know and love," said Bernard Kim, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for EA™ Interactive. "The innovative new features are sure to bring hours of frenzied fun for both newcomers and seasoned Tetris fans.”
“The One Touch feature in this new Tetris game is ground-breaking and it’s the type of inventiveness we have been waiting for. EA's New Version of Tetris Arrives in App Store
Apple opens the door for Grand Central Store on Black Friday
The new Apple store will open in Grand Central Terminal by Black Friday, a report announces. Constructions for what might be the biggest Apple Store to date started in mid August and was expected to take up to 120 days, but, according to the showed pictures, it might take a bit longer for it to reach completion.
The Grand Central store will occupy a whooping 23.000 square-foot space, on the north and northeast balconies of the terminal’s main concourse. It will rise in the place previously occupied by celebrity chef Charlie Palmer’s restaurant Metrazur. Apple paid him $5 million to give up his lease early and penned a 10-year deal with the Manhattan Transit Authority (MTA) to lease the space. According to some documents revealed recently, the annual rent is $800,000 (double than what the restaurant was paying) and it will increase by 3% per year until the ninth year, when it will just go ahead and jump to $ 10 million a year. However, Apple isn’t the only one hoping to bank on the Grand Central traffic, but MTA as well, on Apple’s presence. With the famous tenant, MTA anticipates it will make about $5 million each ear.
Grand Central was opened back in 1871 and has 44 platforms on two underground levels, which makes it the biggest train station. Anywhere. Apple has said that the store will honor the integrity of the building and it will make “very modest alterations to historic elements” in Grand Central.
Apple Store in Munich Creates Tribute Mural For Steve Jobs From 4001 Post-it Notes
MacRumors reports on yet another inventive and painstakingly created tribute to Steve Jobs that once again shows the ingenuity of those he inspired and who want to pay tribute to him. This particular tribute, as first reported on German website iOS ? Newz, was created with 4001 Post-it notes outside the Apple store in Munich, Germany. It features once again what seems to be emerging as the most iconic image of Steve Jobs from recent times, which is also the front cover photo of his forthcoming biography. The video shows how the mural was created by Michi, Chris, Andreas, Kathi, Richard, Sandra, Jiannis, Fabian, Jenny and many others. Here?s a quote from the video creator and uploader, Andreas Kopp:
?Steve devoted his life to give us the most powerful devices ever available to an ordinary person. Lets honor him and his legacy by action. Get some post-its and post what you have to say as a reply to this video.? Andreas writes that the pixels in the video were created with a Mac, and the video was filmed with an iPhone 4 and a timelaps app. It was then edited with iMovie on a MacBook Air. He adds that the portrait took around six hours to create on a ?sunny Sunday.?

Envoy from there where I am in as early as now via my Apple tablet
Can I have Apple store accounts in both countries?
Thanks for the advice - that is what I had hoped but was just to ensure... In my first experiences with iTunes I was forever docking the iPod wrong in one of several PCs that we use in the family and find themselves in a tangle and the addition of two iPod and iPhone 4 between the two different countries creates a matrix of multivariate analysis that I find a challenge.
This issue is resolved, all that remains is something I suspect is an upgrade of the future Apple software. Habing leaves the BlackBerry for iPhone in a corporate environment (hats off to the person who took this decision) and management across multiple time zones if someone could help me to configure input calendar and invitations of the iPhone in a timezone different area of the device is set surJe would be delirious with joy instead of just happy the first issue has been resolved. Thank you very much.
