Apple is a company with a very active imagination. The Cupertino giant has registered a patent which describes a method of charging wireless for its products. Users can synchronize their gadgets with iTunes and iCloud via Wi - Fi with iOS 5. In view of this new feature, a charging method battery Wi - Fi does not appear to an idea farfetched anymore.
How is this method works? According to the patent of Apple, iMac or MacBook capture a NFMR energy source (near field magnetic resolution) and then use it to load iPads, iPhone, or iPod wireless. Compatible wireless keyboard and mice may also be charged in this way, but they require coupling of antennas, so require devices is a bit more complicated. To charge gadgets must be placed at a maximum distance of one metre of the iMac or Macbook.
The good news is that the method of loading Apple Wireless can be used on older versions of iMac so. A USB device must be connected to the iMac to capture the energy and transfer to some other iOS gadgets and devices. The bad news is that the charge field is active in an area of one metre. Therefore users have developed their gadgets near the iMac which limits the functionality of wireless battery recharge. Another issue is the level of radiation involved by such a field of energy, especially now when which admitted that the mobile phone radiation can cause cancer.
This could be one of the patents that apple will never put in practice, but it is good to know that the company is concerned about these ideas.
