Kindle conversion book

OK, it's weird. One of the points of sale of the Amazon for their Kindle is that you can synchronize books across all types of equipment, to include some iPads, desktop and portable computers.

I recommend that you check your settings in the Amazon - can does not some checked or something that will allow that Dell to synchronize (or which will allow the iPad2) for synchronization with each device you have.

Worst comes to worst, the Amazon customer support are impressive with their help.
