The search for a strategy to conquer the kind of game world/universe

OK, the problem of 23,487,573,930 apps in the app store is to find one you like.

I'm looking for a good conquer the world type or game universes.

Only, I've found to this bottom-up is, I am sure there must be others.

Some examples of PC would be Age of Empire, sins of a Solar Empire or civilization.
