DishNetwork TV app

DishNetwork came out with their own Free TV app, it works with the VIP 922, VIP 722 with adapter and more importantly to me the SlingBox Pro. I find this strange since DishNetwork owns SlingMedia and SlingMedia's paid app only works with SlingBox Pro HD and SlingBox Solo.

This is good news for me since I'm a DishNetwork customer, however I heard rumors of FIOS coming out with their own app. This may be a sign the cable/satellite companies are in a race to create their own mobile apps. Perhaps this time the consumer may come out ahead.
